Some time ago a parent, Rochelle Longhurst on behalf of the school approached Lions Hearing Dogs for the system to assist hearing impaired children at the school.
Rochelle is also Practice Nurse at the Weddin Street Doctor’s Surgery.
President Lion Chris Moran and Secretary Lion Terry Carroll made the presentation to the Grenfell Public School Principal Andrew Hooper, Assistant Principal Brent Cartwright and Rochelle Longhurst.
All three thanked the Lions Hearing Dogs and the Grenfell Lions Club for their donation and continued support of the school.
A similar fixed system was presented to St Joseph’s School some years ago.
