There was a well attended meeting in September for the Grenfell Combined Probus Club with 67 members and two visitors.

The minutes were read and there were discussions about the coming birthday dinner as follows:

The birthday dinner will begin at midday, with the meal at 12.30pm. Helpers are required at 9.30am to set up the tables.

After morning tea we had a very interesting talk and photo presentation by Kit Chambers about his trip to Antarctica. Thanks were given to Kit by Ron Huckel.

We had our Tamworth trip in September and it was enjoyed by all.  Many thanks to Loaders Coaches for a well planned and comfortable trip.

Particpants on the trip were very interested in the Woollen Mill  at Nundle. This gave us a good look at wool from the bale to the finished balls of wool.

This is all done on the old machinery.

The next meeting will be held on Monday October 16 at 10am at the Grenfell Bowling Club. On the door is Gwen Reynolds and Eunice Clark.
