Well the spring school holidays are over for another year and what fun we had. Thank you to all the kids and families who attended all the sessions over the past two weeks. I look forward to hosting events over the summer holidays.

I have been teasing you all in recent columns about eBooks and eAudiobooks. Well for those who are not library members or those who have lost their library cards and want to be prepared for when we launch BorrowBox later this month, you might want to drop on down to the library and ensure that you have an active membership. Membership is a requirement of using BorrowBox.

In new adult fiction we have the following new titles The break by Marian Keyes, Diamond sky by Annie Seaton, Cricket kings by William McInnes, Happily ever after by Harriett Evans, The night visitor by Lucy Atkins. Some new nonfiction titles Living the 1960s by Noeline Brown and At my table by Nigella Lawson.
New DVD titles include Tracker, The Double, The forgotten martyr: Lady Jane Grey, The Barchester Chronicles, Newton’s Grace and Closer to the edge. On top of the large print and talking books from the State Library that have been released this week, we have Don’t tell by Karen Rose in MP3 talking books.
Their are a large number of new magazine titles available this week call into the library and don’t forget to grab a magazine survey to help decide on which titles to keep and suggest any new titles. Survey closes October 28.
