RESIDENTS in NSW, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and ACT will be turning their clocks forward an hour on Sunday morning as Eastern Daylight Savings Time starts.

Clocks need to go forward at 2am on Sunday. While smartphones and smart devices will update automatically at that time, other devices will need to be put forward before bed on Saturday night.
Eastern Daylight Savings time will end on April 1, 2018 at 3am when clocks will be turned back an hour.
Daylight saving is not observed in Queensland, the Northern Territory or Western Australia.
