Social Seen: Imogen Anthony dresses up, Kyle Sandilands dresses down

There was jewellery worth over $7million on display at the launch of the House of K'dor's Double Bay boutique this week, but all eyes were on lady in red, Imogen Anthony.

Despite a "glamorous" dress code, the influencer and girlfriend, 26, of KIIS 1065 shock jock Kyle Sandilands, 46, donned an eye-catching ensemble that she described on social media as akin to "a rhinestone cowgirl who escaped the depths of hell".

Sandilands in a blue plaid shirt, sleeveless quilted jacket and navy peaked cap "looked like he could be hosting an episode of Better Homes and Gardens" - again, her words, not ours.

Although Sandilands was out of sorts for the party, he soldiered on with the pair getting "tipsy" and ending their evening dancing around their kitchen - how the best nights always go.

Zena and Tarick K'Dor hosted the socialite-filled soiree at the Intercontinental Hotel Double Bay's rooftop pool and bar.

Guests such as The Wrong Girl star Natalie Bassingthwaighte???, former Miss Universe Australia Tegan Martin and Seven presenter Sally Obermeder were entertained by Cuban beats, salsa dancers and flowing Veuve Clicquot Rich bubbles.

The following afternoon there were hot pink pouts galore at Bright Pink Lipstick Day's afternoon high tea - donated by The Langham on Kent Street to the Pink Hope cause.

Cups of English breakfast tea, flutes of Laurent-Perrier, crustless sandwiches and jam and cream scones were devoured by guests, who were advised on how to look out for changes in their breasts and were encouraged to start having lifesaving conversations about their cancer risk.

The campaign supports women with the BRCA gene (the same gene fault that made worldwide headlines in 2013 thanks to Angelina Jolie), which makes them at moderate to high-risk of breast and ovarian cancer.

In its sixth year, Pink Hope founder Krystal Barter said her only request is to help spread the word.

"If everyone here today just tells one woman, it turns into more conversations and it could be a life-changing moment for someone," she said.

The event was organised by Coote Connex PR, hosted by KIIS FM's Thinkergirls Stacey June and Kristie Mercer, and attended by The Real Housewives of Sydney star Athena X.

Later that evening back in the east, an eclectic mix of models and influencers pouted for seemingly never-ending selfies as British online retailer Boohoo launched its new store, Nasty Gal, into the Australian market with a colourful soiree at a transformed spaced on Oxford Street.

DJ Tori Levett took care of the beats while guests sipped fairy-flossed pink cocktails and dined on mini rainbow sliders as they perused racks of on-trend clothing only taking breaks to get their hair braided or their nails painted.

Who doesn't love brunch, mimosas and a good blow-dry?

The Blow Bar Co., and The Charing Cross Hotel have combined all three and come up with The Brunch Club.

Former Miss Universe Monika Radulovic, former Miss World and Seven presenter Amber Greasley and The Biggest Loser: Transformed trainer and BUF Girl Libby Babet, helped launch Sydney's original blow-dry bar, were all spotted having their quiffs coiffed at the launch last week.
