The action all began on Friday morning with the popular dog show event, it then continued into the evening with the pavilions being open to the public as well as all of the excitement of sideshow alley, the tractor pull practice, the annual fireworks spectacular, the Red Shed and of course, the very entertaining children’s events, including the tug-of-war and three legged race, followed by the adult’s farmer’s challenge.
The pavilions once again housed a very large variety of local and district entries showcasing individual talent in a range of categories including photography, needlework, floral, produce, children’s artwork, cakes and condiments and much more as well as various stalls from organisations, schools and clubs.
Saturday saw perfect weather with huge numbers adorning the Grenfell showground. Organisations such as CWA, Rotary and Lions displayed their culinary services, much to the delight of the large crowd
