His nearest rival is Charles Harvey with 248 games and Grant Fisher has 243 games. In the B group, Leigh Taylor has a good lead with a total of 267 games. Mark Liebich has 252 and two players, Rod Freudenstein and Pat Hazell are neck and neck with 232 games.

Charles Harvey and Rod Freudenstein were the top players in Round 11 on Tuesday night. They won a total of 29 games after playing five sets. They levelled the first set against Michael Mitton and Pat Hazell 4/4, then went on to find top gear to win 7/1, 5/3, 6/2, 7/1- a fine effort. Two pairs were level at the final count, winning a total of 22 games. They were Michael Mitton who was a fill in for Danny Joyce and Pat Hazell and Grahame Edwards and Mark Liebich. Michael and Pat’s scores were 4/4, 4/4, 3/5, 6/2, 5/3, while Grahame and Mark’s sets were 5/3, 4/4, 3/5, 4/4, 6/2.
Matthew Clarke, a fill in for Grant Fisher and Arnold Brown won a total of 19 games for the round. Their first four sets were very close which resulted in 5/3, 4/4, 5/3, 4/4, they went down in the last set 1/7 against the top pair. Stuart McKellar and Leigh Taylor battled away in their sets to win a total of 16 games. Sets were 3/5, 4/4, 4/4, 2/6, 3/5. The other players taking part, Hugh Moffitt and John Walmsley had a battle in their tennis for the night to win 12 games. Good luck to all players when they play the final round next Tuesday.
