Grenfell Goannas Rugby League Club news

HOME GAME THIS

SUNDAY:

This Sunday at Lawson Park fresh off the bye Grenfell will host the Burrangong Bears in League Tag (12.40pm) and First Grade (2.00pm).

The League Tag girls should continue their unbeaten run against a Bears outfit who had a good win over Canowindra last Saturday.

Take the opportunity to come down on Sunday and see this classy team in action as this is their second last home game for the year.

In the First Grade game, the Goannas should be too strong for the Bears who are yet to taste victory this season.

The Bears have shown plenty of ticker this year and have consistently matched teams in the first half of games but due to a lack of numbers have fallen away in the second forty.

The Goannas will have plenty of motivation to win to maintain fifth spot two points ahead of the Condobolin Rams.

REVERSE DRAW:

On Saturday August 12 at the Bowling Club, the Goannas will be holding their Reverse Draw function.

A $50 ticket entitles you to share in $3000 (first prize $2000) of prize money, a BBQ tea, and for the first two hours of the draw complimentary Beer, Wine and Soft Drinks.

Ticket holders do not have to be present at the draw to win the prize money.

The draw will commence at 7.30pm with a wristband check in between 6.00pm – 7.00pm.
