No golf was played on Wednesday due to cold and rainy weather.
Saturday July 22: Medal Day
A cool but fine day for golf today with B Hughes winning the medal with 68 nett followed by A Jones and S Logan equal second on 69 nett with T Bailey third on his new hop 70 nett. A Jones won the NTP on the 18th and balls went to 70 or better.
Sunday AM Social:
D Crowe tok home the chook today with 30 nett followed by J Harris on 31 nett. D Crowe also won the L/Drive competition and J Harris the putting event. No NTP recorded today.
Sunday PM: G Hughes 2 Person Ambrose:
S Logan and S O’Byrne won the men’s competition with 63 ¾ nett with P&S Mawhinney winning the mixed competition with 67 nett. J Myers and E Troth won the ladies event with 63 ¼ nett. NTP on the 18th was won by P Mawhinney and the L/Drive was won by Kepa Broughton.

CHRISTMAS IN JULY
The Committee of the Grenfell Country Club, along with Bill Rudd have organised a Christmas In July Dinner evening at the Country Club on Sunday July 30 commencing at 6.30 pm.
The club’s caterer Tania will prepare a sumptuous two course meal for $25.00 per person and $12.00 primary age children.

The Christmas In July Dinner will once again provide the opportunity for golfers and tennis players and their friends to get-together and enjoy a great social evening.
Anyone of the Grenfell and district will be made most welcome, the main thing is to book in your name-names.
So make up a party and have a wonderful night at the Christmas In July Dinner at the Country Club on Sunday July 30, 2017.
