A cold day greet only a small field for golf today with J Logan winning with 35 points on C/B from J Hockings who also scored 35 points. P Harris was next on 33 points with no NTP recorded.
No golf on Saturday
Sunday AM Social – July 16
D Crowe won today with 33 nett followed by runner – up P Gavin on 37 nett. D Crowe also won the putting event. The L/Drive was won by S Hockings, P Gavin took out the NTP.
Sunday July 16 – South West Fuels Ambrose
A fine but cool day with an average field for the South West Fuels Ambrose and the winners of the men’s event were A Jones and B Brown with 59 ¾ nett.
The winners of the ladies competition were V Forsyth and S Mawhinney.
B Brown won the men’s L/Drive with S Mawhinney winning the ladies event.
B Green won the men’s NTP on the 18th while V Forsyth came away with the NTP on the 9th for the ladies.
The club and members would like to thank Southwest Fuels for sponsoring today’s event and for all the trophies, hope to see you again in 2018.

CHRISTMAS IN JULY
The Committee of the Grenfell Country Club, along with Bill Rudd have organised a Christmas In July Dinner evening at the Country Club on Sunday July 30 commencing at 6.30 pm.
The club’s caterer Tania will prepare a sumptuous two course meal for $25.00 per person and $12.00 primary age children. Bookings at the club 6343 1634 or with Bill on 6343 1270.
During the night there will be entertainment, also several mini lucky door prizes and of course the popular heads and tails competition. A night not to be missed.
The Christmas In July Dinner will once again provide the opportunity for golfers and tennis players and their friends to get-together and enjoy a great social evening. Anyone of the Grenfell and district will be made most welcome, the main thing is to book in your name-names. So make up a party and have a wonderful night at the Christmas In July Dinner at the Country Club on Sunday July 30, 2017.
