Sunday May 28 saw the first game of the club triples played between B Bradtke, James Hunter and R Walter and W Paine, K Aston and R Coleman.
After three ends the fast starting W Paine and his side had jumped out to an 8-1 lead however after a slow start B Bradtke’s side fought back to tie the scores 11 all after nine ends.
B Bradtke’s side then jumped out to lead 23-14 which did not seem to worry W Paine’s side who came roaring back to require 5 on the last end to draw, the last end saw them put the pressure right on, however they were unlucky scoring 4 shots meaning that B Bradtke’s side snuck home for a win by 1 shot 23-22.
