Weddin Day Therapy recently held a 5 week Art program for community members over 65 years of age at Grenfell Community Health. Kathleen McCue was the talented Artist who guided the participants through the program, three weeks were spent completing a painting, 2 weeks completing a mosaic. Art program facilitator Elly Schiller received wonderful feedback from the participants such as ‘highly enjoyable’, ‘educative’, a wonderful experience’, ‘gives interested locals an opportunity to develop talents’. Weddin Day Therapy would like to thank Weddin Shire Council for their kind donation as it assisted the Art program to take place without a great cost to participants. It is envisaged another Art program will take place later in 2017.
