The awards recognise projects in a variety of categories including conservation and adaptive use of buildings, advocacy campaigns to preserve buildings or natural landmarks and heritage publications by a community group. When the magnificent cover of “Historic Homes of the Weddin Shire” appeared on the big screen, the group was delighted to learn the book had been awarded Highly Commended in the heritage publications by a community group.
