Updated April 26 2017 - 1:00pm, first published 12:11pm

Last Sunday, April 23, Active Farmers, led by trainer Kim Broomby was launched at Caragabal. Kim has been taking group fitness and aqua classes at Quandaialla for 20 years and last year joined the Active Farmer network. Kim has now expanded her service to residents of Caragabal and last weekend held a launch event. The event involved a free fitness class, BBQ and an opportunity for community members to come down and see what Active Farmers is all about.  Active Farmers is a service that aims to help improve mental health in regional areas by bringing a service to small rural communities that improves physical health, provides an opportunity to socialise and therefore naturally improves mental health. Kim's classes are suitable for all levels of fitness and offer a fun and interactive environment for farmers and the entire community. For more information about Kim and her service head to www.activefarmers.com.au
