It has come around so quickly, fundraising for the 60th Henry Lawson Festival by selling tickets in the Monster Raffle. Co-coordinator of the festival raffle, Bill Rudd, with help from Auburn Carr and Claire McCann have been busy organising the many wonderful prizes for the popular Monster Raffle. Bill is very pleased with the support and generosity of businesses who have kindly donated prizes. In all, there are 15 fabulous prizes to be won and the more tickets you purchase the greater chance to win more prizes, tickets are once again just $2 each or three for $5. Fantastic value!.

The first selling day for the raffle will be Thursday, March 30 and there will be several other selling days as well as street stalls, dates for street stalls will be Friday and Saturday, May 26 and 27, Friday and Saturday, June 2 and 3 and Friday, June 9. Unfortunately, Margaret Shaw is unable to supply her famous plain and date scones, however, and hopefully the many good cooks of Grenfell and district will come to the rescue and provide some cooking. Other saleable goods will also be appreciated. Many thanks to Hugh Moffitt, Colin Wood, Peter and Pat Soley and Bernadette Dykhoff who have already offered to help sell tickets in the Monster Raffle. Although John Niven has sold his Bimbi property he still generously donated two lamb meat trays. Many thanks to John who has for several years been a great supporter of the raffle donating many lamb meat trays. Finally, a big thankyou to the above businesses for their support of the Monster Festival Raffle and to Chris Lobb who always does a fantastic job printing of the Raffle Posters.
