The Caragabal Memorial Hall committee members served up a beautiful breakfast that was thoroughly enjoyed by all, the Caragabal community wish to thank the terrific Hall committee members.
Rob Maslin presented Polly Napier with the Caragabal Public School Australia Day Youth Award for her outstanding achievements throughout 2016, congratulations Polly.
Community members then spread out around the village to bring in their haul of yabbies for the annual Yabby competition at the Caragabal Country Club.
'Boree Bakers' took home first prize for largest yabby measuring up at a whopping 32cm. Hamish Napier won first prize for fastest yabby.
As usual a great night was had west of Weddin. The community thank all those involved for making this years Australia Day celebrations another excellent event for our residents.
