The event was well attended by members of the community, gallery volunteers, exhibition Artists, Weddin Shire General Manager Glenn Carroll and Arts and Tourism officer Claire McCann.
Mr Carroll addressed the crowd and thanked the volunteers for their continuous support and assistance throughout 2016. Claire also thanked the volunteers and artists involved in the current exhibition. On behalf of the Grenfell Community Arts and Craft group, Gai Lander also gave a speech acknowledging the artists in the group and their multitude of talents.
