Members of the public are of course very welcome to join us as we come together to remember the sacrifice of those who have died for Australia in wars and conflicts.
At 11am on the 11 November 1918 the guns on the Western Front fell silent after more than four years of continuous warfare.
After the end of World War 11, the Australian and British governments changed the name to Remembrance Day, a title that is more appropriate for a day when we commemorate all war dead.
The Service will involve the Army Cadets and students from local schools.
The Service will take approximately 30 minutes.
Poppies will be available at the RSL street stall on Wednesday and Thursday and at Memorial Park prior to the Service.
The RSL will be having a Remembrance Day Dinner at the Bowling Club on Friday the 11th of November, commencing at 6.30pm for 7pm.
There will be guest speakers and Grenfell Cadet Platoon, Cadet of the Year.
Bookings are essential for catering purposes and can be made by telephoning by Thursday November 10, 2016
