Grenfell Guides open day will be held on Sunday October 2, 2016 at the Guide Hall in East Street. Guides will be participating and light refreshments will be available for visitors, Guides memorabilia will also be on display. If you have any old Guide uniforms, books, magazines etc that might be suitable for the memorabilia display please let Guides know. Rosella already has former Grenfell Guides asking to lend Guiding memorabilia for the open day!

We are also busy organising a trip to the Junee Licorice and Chocolate Factory.
It is hoped that work will soon start at the front and side of the hall. Cement paths will be replaced and a ramp, on the side of the hall will also be built.
The weather is still cold so please make sure your daughter brings a jumper or coat to Guides. It would be appreciated if all Guides could wear uniform for every Guide meeting.
Unit News - Yaalini has advised that she will take on a Unit Leader role and Chloe will become a Unit Helper! This will take the pressure off Rosella and Brolga and the ladies are a very welcome addition to Grenfell Guides Leadership Team.
Role Changes: Brolga will stand down as District Manager as of October 4 and take on a Unit Helper role within the unit. So Grenfell are now in need of a District Manager (DM). You don’t need to become a Leader or Unit Helper to support Guiding in Grenfell. You can be a Mum, Dad, Aunty, Uncle, Nan and Pop or a member of the wider Grenfell community. There is something that everyone can do that doesn’t need to take a lot of time. Please talk to the leaders.
