The Palliative Care Bed Fundraiser continued with a Street Stall and the drawing of the raffle last Saturday, which was followed by Bill Rudd selling tickets the previous Thursday in Main street, I thank him for his time and effort on a cold winter day.

We had a cold but sunny day on Friday and the donations of goods was overwhelming thank you to volunteers Anne Colbran, Cathy Lee, Corrie Drady, Dot Lamkin, Gina Chalker and myself who were instrumental in raising an amazing amount of money, we are just $175.00 short of a third bed.

The lucky winners of the mega raffle were:  Thurston Skinner, Marlene Nealen, Father Paul, Lola Madden, George Small, Zel Barker and Joanne Troy. 

The Grenfell Lions Club have donated the money to buy the second bed already on order, we thank them for their generous donation.

Please, if anyone is in need of a bed at home for a short time after a difficult operation or palliative care do not hesitate to contact Lynne Peterson at Community Health.
