On Saturday it was Newcastle's turn as fun-lovers skidded down Parkway Avenue from Bar Beach to Cooks Hill.
The 12-hour event was a sell-out, making it pretty similar to previous dates in Launceston, Devonport, Hobart, Toowoomba and Wollongong have already had their turn on the giant waterslide.
