Last Wednesday saw the second round of the new & improved dart competition played. All six teams played at the Country Club and what a sight it was to see so many new & old players applying their trade.

The Golfies No/ 1 took on the Criterion in a great match that went to the wire, 4 games to 3 in favour of the Golfers. New players Amber, Maurice & Mick joined forces with Woodsy, Kye & Kath for the Cri, who led 2-1 after the games of 501.
The golfers Rod, Jess, Trothy, Colleen, Fann & Starry fought back to have the match all square after the 701 games @3-3. The golfers prevailed in a tight 101 game with Rod throwing the check dart.
Playing for the Royal was Craig, Kel, Glenn, Rod, Jim & Tommy, they played The Breakaways - Mary, Sharon, Megan, Shelly, Tracy & Elyse. , Mary was consistent, Sharon hit 90, Shelly 81, and Megan hit the double to win a game for the ladies. After some very close and entertaining games the Royal won 4-1.
The Golfies No/2 Pete, Nathan, Ross, Jacob, Scott & Brian played the Cricket Club Zach, Brad, Tozer, Josh, Ringo & Rollsy. Golfies won 4 nil but the score doesn’t indicate how close the games were. The doubles aren’t as big as stumps.
