We are writing to the Grenfell Record to inform the public that students from The Henry Lawson High School are working towards sending care packages to our local service men and women currently serving overseas. We are looking specifically for women and men with a Grenfell or Weddin Shire connection with a view to commemorating the 100 years of ANZAC. Our care packages will contain items such as: Australian treats, local newspaper, soap and stationary. Additionally, if you want to add a personal touch to the care package such as letters or photos, please leave details of whom and where to send it to it at the school front office. Please mark anything brought in as confidential. We would appreciate any form of donations towards these care packages to be left at The Henry Lawson High School front office by Friday, 13th of March.
If you are able to assist us in showing our gratitude and thanks to our service people please do not hesitate to contact Paige Hughes: paige.hughes2@education.nsw.gov.au or Jade Ward: jade.l.ward@education.nsw.gov.au
