Ranging from foot-tapping blues, melodic folk tunes, to humorous songs about the eccentricities of everyday life, Hayley Shone has a lot to offer. Bringing her unique songs to life, Hayley is a story teller as well as an accomplished guitarist who incorporates a fusion of finger-picking, tapping and rhythm.
Hayley performed at the National Folk Festival in 2014, was a finalist in the ‘Fret Fest’ busking competition at Woodford Folk Festival 2013/14, has supported Deborah Conway, Justin Heazlewood (The Bedroom Philosopher), Fred Smith, Zoe Elliot and others, and has been a frequent fixture in venues around Canberra over the past three years.
Recently emerging from the studio, Hayley just recorded her debut album to be released in late March-early April.
Other acts that will appear on the night are Gordie Mackeeman and His Rythm Boys from Canada and Australian Sister Duo ‘Siskin River’. Tickets are now on sale online at www.festivalofsmallhalls.com or at CJ Anderson’s Real Estate in Main Street Grenfell.
