Three Grenfell Lady Golfers, Val Forsyth, Virginia Drogemuller and Shirley Mawhinney , have just returned from playing in the Taylor Made World Masters Competition, which was held on four golf courses on the Queensland Gold Coast from 19th to 25th October. The Four Courses played were Palmer Colonial, Royal Pines, The Glades and Lakelands. All ladies played in the 56 - 65 Division, and all played very well with Virginia Drogemuller being the runner up in the division. Peter Mawhinney also played in the Masters.
There was no ladies golf played over the last weekend. Three ladies Jenny Nealon, Phillipa Baker and Barbara Bean played nine holes on Wednesday morning.
The Nine Hole Competition for Grenfell Commodities Trophy will commence on Saturday 1st November and continue for the whole month.
The Mixed Foursomes will be played this Sunday over 27 holes, so ladies find yourself a partner and join in. The starting time will be in the Mens notes.
Until next week, good golfing.
