Batting first Young were in trouble as Grenfells left arm quick Mick Miller clean bowling two Young blues batsmen in the first over.
Young rallied through Josh Platt , C Jones and Z Williams but once these three were dismissed the innings soon came to a close finishing on 111.
Miller troubled the batsman all day to finish with 4 for 21 while Hamish Starr cleaned up the tail taking 3 for 2 off three overs.
C.Jones was by far Youngs best batsman scoring 47 runs.
Grenfell started well taking full toll of the fast outfield scoring at almost 6 an over to pass the required runs in the 20th over.
Ben Mitton top scored with 39 while Phil Simpson 38 and Terry Knight 20 were the not out batsman.
B Crouse was the only wicket taker for Young blues with 1 for 24.
