The A Grade 54 Holes leader Allan Jones with 227 gross followed by Brian Brown and Paul Taylor with with 238 gross.

The B Grade 54 Holes leader is Barry Green with 256 gross followed by Peter Mawhinney with 262 gross.

The C Grade 54 Holes leader is Steve Mitton with 268 gross followed by Sticky on 271 gross.

Social Golf - Sunday, September 14th.

Seven golfers played the bottom 9 and R. Smith won with 31 nett whist G. Mac came in 2nd with 32 nett. The Longest Drive was won by J. Harris and G. Mac also won the putting comp. There was no N.T.P. - sorry about last Sunday’s results.

Final Round of Championships - Sunday September 14th.

The A Grade Club Champion for 2014 was Allan Jones with 303 gross. The 72 Holes nett score was also won by Allan Jones with 268 nett.

The B Grade Champion for 2014 is Barry Green with 341 gross. The 72 Holes nett score was also won by Barry Green with 275 nett.

The C Grade Champion in 2014 is Steve Mitton with 368 gross with J. Hockings coming in a very close 2nd with 370 gross. The 72 Holes nett score was also won by Steve Mitton with 285 nett.

Today’s A Grade Scratch winners was shared by B. Brown and A. Jones with 76 gross with B. Brown also winning the nett score with a fine 65 nett.

Today’s B Grade Scratch winner was B. Green who took out the nett score with 69 nett.

Today’s C Grade Scratch winner is M. Troth with 95 gross and he also won the nett with 72 nett. B. Hughes won the N.T.P. on the 18th. Balls went to 70 or better plus S. Logan.

The D.B. Scott Trophy winner for 2014 was won by B. Brown with 65 nett and the Rube Lehane Memorial Trophy winner for lowest nett score for 72 holes was won by A. Jones with 286 nett.

Once again  all of golfers would like to thank the B. Green and the Sunday Social Boys for the greens that we had the pleasure to play on over the two weekends.

The Singles Matchplay was also played today with B. Brown defeating P. Taylor 2/1

Keep It Straight - A.J.

With the beautiful weather on the weekend it was pleasing to see ladies out playing golf.

Five ladies travelled to Canowindra for their Tournament on Thursday 11th September. Some ladies played well and came home bringing trophies with them, well done Val Forsyth, Shirley Mawhinney and Virginia Drogemuller.

Our best wishes for a good round of golf go to the ladies who are playing in the WDLGA Finals Day on Thursday 18th.

The Ladies Foursomes Championships were played over Saturday and Sunday last week.

Three teams entered this year .

 The Scratch Winners were Virginia Drogemuller and Shirley Mawhinney with 187,  Second were Jan Myers and Rebecca Smith with 195 and third were Megan Starr and Elyse Troth with 224.

The Handicap winners winning by one shot  were  Jan Myers and Rebecca Smith with 143, next were Virginia Drogemuller and Shirley Mawhinney with 144 and third were Megan Starr and Elyse Troth with 159.

The Club Trophy for the best putting over the 36 holes was won by  Jan Myers and Rebecca Smith with 60 putts , well done ladies.

Two other teams just played on the Sunday with the following results  Val Forsyth and Phillipa Baker had 74 nett and 28 putts, and Julie Scott and Maria Neill had  751/2 nett and 32 putts.

Next Weeks Programme

On Saturday a stableford will be played, and on Sunday a par will be played.

On Wednesday 24th 9 Sealed holes will be played for P Baker Trophy.
