Stuart Taylor, Vice President of Grenfell Car Club was a recent Guest Speaker at Rotary. Stuart first spoke of his own love of cars, followed by some details of the Grenfell car club. Stuart has always loved cars and spent youthful pocket money buying Modern Motor and Wheels magazines. He buys second hand good cars, above the base model for family use, but in 2003 started ‘looking for a toy’ and bought a Corvette. He joined Corvettes of Canberra and in 2004 was part of a group of Corvettes that preceded the Bathurst 1000. One Corvette was joined by another, and another when he bought a Corvette Stingray four years ago. Along the way he was introduced to track driving at Wakefield Park by Justyn Armstrong. Boys and their toys!!
