With the last few days of winter and the first day of spring, Grenfell experienced some glorious weather. The golden wattle trees and Canola crops are in full bloom and the gardens are bursting into colour.
The weather changed drastically on Tuesday September 2 with very chilly winds and a drop in the temperature. Snow fell in the Blue Mountains, on the Brindabellas in ACT and at Barrington Tops and I think the fires will be going for a few more weeks.
