The Summers Gang from Nundle (l/r) are brothers Chris, Danny and Brian with their wives in front (l/r) Sandra, Ros and Rosemary.
The idea of “Free Camping” has recently been a topic of conversation in the letter pages of the Record. It has been mooted as an alternative to the caravan park and street parking etc, especially if electricity was supplied. The following campers made the most of the area at the Railway station and spent several days in Grenfell and spent a lot of money here on food, drink and entertainment. Seen here all the way from Ulladulla were the Reids and Taylors big rigs.
Relaxing in Grenfell were campers Kelley & Gary Reid with John and Tina Taylor who spent four days in Grenfell during their trip around Australia.
The Summers brother and their wives made their home in Grenfell for a few days at the Railway station camping ground and loved every minute of it. The families are from Nundle. Seen here are their caravans and 4-wheel drives.
