‘THE KEEP’ 3rd April - 5th May
Melissa Barber- Paintings described as sublime, sensual and metaphysical, with tactile three dimensional qualities and use of negative space and nature’s detail.
Loretta Blake- Paintings of flowers in many forms exuding colour and expressing vibrancy and spontaneity. The artist has a wealth of natural ability.
Eris Fleming - The focus of these paintings is around the fringe dwellers of outback society and their eccentricities, connecting the spirit with the landscape. There is a strong undercurrent of dry humour in many of his works.
Larissa Blake - Vibrant works inspired by her extensive travels abroad and every day world with all its spontaneity. An extremely gifted colourist who understands interval and colour relationships in nature.
John Wood - Fine art sculptor who uses forged steel as an art form, combining dissimilar materials like steel and sandstone to create truly inspiring pieces for your space, inside or out. John also does commissions at your request. See Photo titled ‘LUNAR’.
‘THE GRENFELL CURTAIN’- a quilted wall hanging on permanent display depicting the history of Grenfell and surrounding areas. Created by Sylvia Brind and many local embroiderers and quilters.
