All positions were filled.

There were three teams nominations present at the meeting. Which is quite disappointing considering how many teams we have had for previous competitions.

The committee have extended close of the nominations to next Wednesday November 18.

Committee is asking all persons interested in playing touch this summer to please organise a team or if you are willing to play but not yet in a team to also contact Larissa on 6343 2772 by 8.00pm on Wednesday November 18.

So everyone from year seven to adults please rally in and support your local touch football association.

If no more nominations are received by the 18th it will be with regret that the touch football in Grenfell will have to cease.

Which will be a very big shame.

After not having touch football in the town for many years and for two girls to take it upon themselves to get the ball rolling again just 18 months ago, it will be a very big disappointment if this sport has to fold in our community.

Please could our community all get together and place some teams in our social summer mixed competition.

Games are played on Monday nights with the first game to commence at 7.10pm.

Six players to a side rules are played with a max of 12 players per team.

Fee’s for summer competition is $360 per team for seniors and $320 per team for juniors.

Juniors are teams of all under 18s.

Committee are also lenient on times and nights of play.
